The following text is the fourth part of our medical catalog: Some are dispatched without delay (those listed in blue color) and some other items are usually dispatched with delays (those listed in red). The delay is due to the fact that we manufacture them only on demand, only when they are ordered. The length of the delay depends on how many incoming orders are there already to be done. However, as some of our customers say, these items are so good that they are worth waiting for. There is no delay with an order of the bibs or with the sky blue dress style medical gown #487 (see below, in blue color).
There is a minor delay with garments marked in purple color.
The greatest delays are with the rubber bloomers made in the yellowish-khaki rubber.
This section contains information on various homecare items including the hygienic belts (rubber or vinyl), hygienic waterproof skirts (rubber or vinyl), on bloomers (rubber or vinyl),and on bibs.

HYGIENIC BELTS:
#200 HYGIENIC VINYL BELT. Very useful for those who hate to but must wear waterproof protection for the daytime or at night. There is no vinyl on the sides (the air has full access to the hipsides). The vinyl (PVC) is held up at waist by a wide (0.75"=2cm) waist elastic. There are narrow elastics along the vinyl, going from the front waist elastics down to the leg, around the crotch, and up to the waist elastics on the back (see picture). For minor dribbling problem, the vinyl belt can be worn directly over cotton underwear to prevent leaking through. For heavier problems, use reusable absorbent pads. All sizes (except the small size belt) are designed to hold pads as large as our #888 (choose #888 in smaller or the same size as your vinyl belt). With the small size belt, use smaller pads. Materials and colors (or prints) are same as listed for pants #140 or 240. Colors: pink, navy, yellow, clear, cherry red, pearlised pink, or light blue, , or in amber or in shiny white, or in a plain transparent vinyl (very thin and soft, with a silky quality), or any of the printed vinyl patterns, available in several types:

The price is high because it is unexpectedly time-consuming to sew these garments. Sizes (approximate): small for waist 22" to 28" (56cm to 71cm), hips to 36" (92cm), medium for waist 27" to 36" (69cm to 92cm), hips to 43" (109cm), large for waist 35" to 48" (89cm to 122cm), hips to 50" (127cm), and extra-large for waist 45" to 66" (117cm to 167cm) and hips to 74" (188cm).

BLOOMERS
#229 VINYL BLOOMERS: These are designed to prevent urine leaks in a sitting person, e.g., when travelling by car). They are made in the same vinyl materials and colors as described for pants #240 or #140: smooth transparent vinyl or in a semitransparent pink, yellow, or navy blue, or also in light blue or in cherry red, or in pearlised pink, or in amber or in shiny white, or in a plain transparent vinyl (very thin and soft, with a silky quality), or in a printed vinyl with various prints . The printed vinyl is soft, very smooth, and thin and is available in several types:

General comments: The advantage of these bloomers are their nice materials and colors. Their disadvantage is that they are made all by sewing machines, including between the legs (the seams are not welded).
If you are considering to purchase these bloomers in L, XL, or XL size, please consider also the same bloomer but with a wider leg elastics (see the bloomers #230, #231) instead as the weak waist elastics of the bloomer #229 may slide down from the larger waists.

#629 RUBBER BLOOMERS These are the same as #229 but are made in 100% rubber. The material and colors are the same as described for pants #340 and #640: white, pink, medical green, or light blue. The style is designed to cover #840 diapers (high waist). Size categories are the same as #229, however, this bloomer is available only in the small or medium size. We do not recommend #629 except perhaps in the small or medium size because the waist elastics (soft lingerie elastics) are too weak for any size (except perhaps for small and medium size) to hold up the heavy garment. #633 JACKIE RUBBER BLOOMERS, HIGH WAIST, WIDE ELASTICS. This garment has been developed with the help, direction, encouragement, and kind advice from an experienced customer. Colors: white, pink, medical green, or light blue.

#126 VINYL BLOOMERS, HIGH WAIST.   The same bloomers as #233 Jackie, made with a fairly high waist to cover bulky diapers overnight, however, made with less wide elastics at the waist and at legs.

#EX3300 MEDICAL RUBBER SKIRT: skirt made in 100% rubber for hygienic protection, with heavy incontinence, for patients who cannot use regular incontinence pants due to irritated skin on the upper legs.
These skirts are 26" (66 cm long) and this means that they usually reach, on ladies of average height, just below the knee. They have a wide elastic at the waist. The rubber material is rather heavy and is not recommended for weak patients such as those with multiple sclerosis. Many wear it around the house and some even in their country backyard when the neighbors could not possibly see, at a long distance, that the material is rubber.

#EX1300 MEDICAL VINYL SKIRT: skirt made in 100% vinyl (PVC) for hygienic protection, with
heavy incontinence, for patients who cannot use regular incontinence pants due to irritated skin on the upper legs.

#445 FULLY CIRCULAR VINYL SKIRT: Over time, we have become aware that some incontinent disabled persons benefit from a fully circular waterproof skirt, for numerous reasons (less restriction on leg movement, more air access to skin, additional protection in various seated positions (e.g., in a "bucket" style car seats). Our design is a seamless skirt, and is available in light blue or in cherry red, or in pearlised pink or in amber or in shiny white, or in a plain transparent vinyl, or also in our printed vinyl materials, available in several types:

#441 FULLY CIRCULAR VINYL SKIRT: The same seamless skirt as #445, only somewhat shorter, and is available in navy blue or in pink, or in yellow, or transparent vinyl.     The skirt can be worn under regular textile skirts, dresses, etc., the same as waterproof skirts made for incontinent ladies by other North-American medical manufacturers. The advantage of these very short vinyl skirts is that they may be hidden under a dress that reaches barely below the knees, in some cases. The circular skirt is less confining than the usual narrow style skirts.
Length: the skirt is almost 18" (45cm) long, and may reach halfway to the knee or close to the knee.

The short skirt provides only a minor additional protection when worn over a regular plastic pant. We do not recommend it for tall persons or those with large pelvic bones, however, the practical value of this protective skirt may vary from person to person..

Our circular vinyl skirt has seams on the hipside, and is available in either plain dark blue (navy), light blue (sky blue), cherry red, yellow, clear, or pink or in pearlized pink, or with printed patterns (same as those described above for the shorter vinyl skirt). The materials are the same as used for our Susan, Christie, and Olga vinyl pants.
We have no photographs at this moment.

#448 FULLY CIRCULAR RUBBER SKIRT:   Some incontinent disabled persons benefit from a fully circular waterproof skirt, for numerous reasons (less restriction on leg movement, more air access to skin, additional protection in various seated positions (e.g., in a "bucket" style car seats). Our circular rubber skirt has seams on the hipside, and is available in light blue or in white, medical green, or pink.   The materials are the same as used for our Susan, Christie, and Olga pants.
Although this skirt is also available in the natural color rubber (yellowish khaki, the natural color material in our stock has small flaws (small holes, small embedded dark particles) and we do not recommend that color (if you order it, please do not complain about small flaws).
The skirts can be worn under or over regular textile skirts, dresses, etc., the same as other waterproof skirts made for incontinent ladies by other North-American medical manufacturers. The advantage of these circular rubber skirts is that they are not transparent. Perhaps, these skirts could also be used while lounging at your private swimming pool, worn directly over a diaper. And, perhaps, some less self-conscious ladies may even use it even during their family visit at the beach as the rubber skirt covers the diaper and the waterproof skirt will not be soaked wet by the splashes of water, e.g., while cooling the feet in the water. However, please remember that rubber tears very easily.
Length: the skirt is almost 20" (50cm) long, and may reach close to the knee, or in some persons, even below the knee.

#255 BLOOMER STYLE OVERNIGHT GARMENT
Same as the rubber garment #655 but made in 100% vinyl. It reaches above the breast level at the top and far below the knees at the bottom. In a short person, the pant leg opening reaches to the ankles. It is designed to fully cover very bulky diapers overnight, to allow uninterrupted sleep in medical patients.

#487 DRESS STYLE MEDICAL GOWN Made in 100% vinyl, in the style of a ladies' dress, with a very wide neck opening. The dress is solid on both sides, front and back, no openings. The only way to dress the patient is over the head, the same as a regular ladies dress.

On the photograph, the dress is worn over a matching plastic pant with diapers, and over a matching ladies' top.

We do not recommend the khaki-yellow rubber material as it could have imperfections (small embedded dark particles) or tiny holes in it. Our rubber sheeting in the other colors is usually of good quality.

Please state the circumference measure of the chest, just above (or immediately below) the level of the breasts, under the arms, in inches or in centimetres (please indicate which one), when ordering.

If you wish a a short sleeve (as on the photograph), the skirt section of the dress would be very very short: for technical reasons, the length of the dress from the shoulder (the very top of the dress) to the bottom of the skirt would be only about 35" (90 cm) and so the diapers would not be sufficiently covered.
Extra Large for waist and chest circumference from 37" to 55" (from 93 cm to 140 cm), and it can be made only with the length of garment approximately 35" (90 cm), i.e., very very short (no exceptions).

Let us know if you need a smaller size than M (state waist and chest size).

We cannot garantee a proper fit. In particular, we can not make it as a tight fitting garment.
