Garments with lace for disabled ladies.

Several medical stores that sell surgical supplies in the USA have, at one time, advertized plastic pants for incontinence that were decorated with lace at waist and on legs, for ladies.  If sufficiently wide, the lace can help to conceal minor leaks around the leg elastics.  The attractive colors help to prevent feelings of depression, may enhance self-esteem, and may induce a more positive attitude to life. Some disabled persons enjoy decorating their clothing in various ways to make the world a more beautiful place. Unfortunately, many disabled persons are often unable to sew due to chronic illness or other adverse conditions.
We recommend doing this only on garments that have strong and sturdy elastics, otherwise the weak elastics become very slack or damaged and the garment may become unusable.  Unfortunately, this happens too often with the pants #192, 198, 195, 106, 197 and we do not add any lace to them.
There are no known problems with adding lace to garments made by us, i.e., to any Susan, Christie, and Olga pants or to Angela pants #150 or #151 or to color pants #155.   Those that have the lace only at legs cost less than those with lace both at the legs and at the waist. 

#155-L   COLOR PANTS WITH LACE AT LEGS   These are the pants #155 as described in our main catalog but with lace at legs.
Approximate sizes (measure over diapers or pads): small (S) for waist 26" to 38" (66cm-97cm), hips to 39" (99cm). Medium (M) for waist 30" to 43" (77cm-110cm), hips to 43" (110cm). #150-L    ANGELA PANTS LACE AT LEGS    This pant is made in a soft smooth vinyl (100% PVC) in either transparent, or white, or in a beautiful amber (yellow with a pink shade) color.  These are exactly the same pants as #150, however, the lace was added around the leg opening.

#020-L   LACE AT LEGS, SHORT MEDICAL VINYL PANT  This short vinyl pant has comfortable, reasonably wide elastics: these cloth elastics are against the skin.  The crotch is reasonably wide (the pant accomodates the #888 reusable absorbent pad, if chosen in a smaller size than the pant).  The vinyl material is transparent (clear), relatively soft (the same material as the clear Angela pants), and very smooth.  The material feels gentle to touch.  The pant is particularly useful for those who definitely need diapers but live in a hot climate (where full size vinyl pants may be too uncomfortable), or for those who need very small size pants to conceal under short sport clothing or certain professional uniforms. This is an exceptionally good product.
It is not easy to select proper size with these short pants.  Please buy first only one in a given size (or one of each in 2 neighboring sizes), to see if it fits you comfortably.  For some persons, several sizes may fit (some for a very tight fit and some for a more generous, comfortable fit).
The lace is 2" (about 5cm) wide.

#750 L  MEDICAL PANT, NYLON LINED WITH VINYL, WITH 2" LACE AT LEGS. This is a very light nylon mesh pant fully lined with vinyl (PVC). The nylon mesh is in a light blue color and the vinyl is white.  Well suited for overnight protection or for moderate to heavy incontinence during daytime. The pant has the appearance of fashionable feminine undergarments. The blue nylon mesh is very thin: its material is similar to nylon used for the ladies' nylon stockings.  Depending on the type of light in the room, the pant may appear almost white, on some photographs, however, it looks light blue in the normal daylight..

The waist size is changed by adding the lace to the waist because the waist elastics become more slack, perhaps too slack at the waist for some people.

Although the pictures show only garments #663 (Christie rubber pants, in various colors), you can order many of the Christie or Susan pants (vinyl or rubber) with the 2" wide lace at waist and legs. We recommend doing this only on garments that have strong wide elastics (see complete list below), otherwise the narrower elastics become very slack or damaged and the garment may become unusable.

Which garments from our catalog can be made with the lace?  The following (those with 3/4" wide elastics):  the pants #617, 217, 117, 317, 343, 643, 143, 243, 663, 363, 163, 263, the bloomers 231, 233, 631, 633, and also the  pants  #020, 150, 151.
The overnight garments #173, 273, 673, and #373 but only with the lace at the top and at legs (not at the waist).
We also can attach lace to the Alpha pants #154 and the bloomers #125, however, the lace on them is sewn directly on the vinyl (not on the elastics) and this could make the garment less durable and more likely to leak.
Important note: For all garments, the elastics at waist and legs become somewhat less strechy when we attach the lace.  This decreases the range of the waist and leg size by about 15%. 

The price  for adding the lace ONLY at both legs  is $ 8 US (for customers in USA),  or  $ 9 Canadian (for customers in Canada), or  $10 US (for addresses outside of USA or Canada).   This amount has to be added by you to the price of each pant.
NOTE:  In general, we recommend to add the lace only to the legs as otherwise the waist elastics may be weakened and be rather slack.  Adding the 2" elastics to legs only is, for customers in the USA, US $ 5.  For customers in Canada, Canadian $ 7.  For customers elsewhere, US $ 8.
